In 2009, I developed type one diabetes. My immune system had killed off the beta cells in my pancreas that make insulin. One of the side effects of high blood sugar is extreme weight loss. I weighed 176 lbs. The day I was diagnosed, I weighed only 120 lbs. Since then, I've gained about 30 lbs. I plan to lose twenty, and tone my body. This blog is how I'm inspiring myself. It could inspire you, too.
